We are excited to announce that we have added 14 Drug Control Program registration types to the Massachusetts Health Professions Licensing System. The new system replaced a handful of aging legacy applications and will help the Massachusetts Drug Control Program promote access to safe and effective pharmaceutical care services as well as set the standards for prescribing, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals by health care providers, health care facilities, and drug manufacturers. With this release the following Controlled Substance Registrations will now be available online for new applications and renewals:
JD Software is pleased to announce that we have successfully deployed the third phase of the Health Professions Licensing System one week ahead of schedule. This phase marks the completion of the transfer of 13 professional licensure boards from the Division of Occupational Licensure to Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH). The following boards were transferred in this phase:
This is a remarkable accomplishment, not only for us at JD Software, but for our clients at the MDPH. We are thankful for their continued trust in us, and we look forward to deploying the next phases of the system.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Invoice Tracking System just launched, marking a strong start to the New Year. This new system replaces a labor-intensive and error-prone process that relied heavily on paper and email correspondence. The new system streamlines the invoice approval and payment process and will increase efficiency and productivity and significantly reduce processing times.
Our team’s dedication to our clients is the differentiating factor that has always propelled us to succeed, and we are grateful for our partners’ continued trust in us.
Since the implementation of Phase 1, we have been working hard on Phase 2 and adding new license types to our system. This phase covers 8 different license types from:
This is yet another exciting milestone for all of us here at JD Software with the successful launch of the 2nd phase of deployment for the Massachusetts Health Professions Licensing System. 2 phases down, 3 to go!
We are proud to announce that we have successfully launched the Physician Licensing System, the system to be used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to manage the licensing, enforcement, and compliance for physicians and acupuncturists. This system streamlines the licensing process for one of the most regulated health professions in the nation, while providing easy-to-use interfaces for board staff, licensees, and the general public.
This system leverages ArcHealth, our software as a service (SaaS) licensing and enforcement system.
JD Software is proud to announce that we’ve successfully deployed phase 1 of the Health Professions Licensing System. The system that will be leveraged by the state to regulate the licensing of over 100 health related professions. Phase 1 includes these license types:
We're grateful for the opportunity to work with the Massachusetts Bureau of Health Professions Licensure. We look forward to implementing the next phases of this project.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve reached 250 million system transactions on the Medical Marijuana System. This system has helped over 240,000 patients in Massachusetts since 2014.
We are excited to announce that JD Software has been awarded a multi-state contract (ITS75) that will allow us to sell our products to the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. This is an important step in expanding JD Software’s reach, and we're excited for what's next!
While many of us were lucky to be able to work from home, our healthcare workers have had no choice but to be on the frontlines of the pandemic fighting to ensure the health and safety of our communities.
We are proud to have built a system for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health that will simplify travel expense reimbursements for our healthcare workers. More specifically, this system allows the Department of Public Health employees to track and process travel reimbursement requests. Our team is proud to have built an intuitive system that we hope will help our travelling healthcare workforce continue providing outstanding care for our communities.
This is our humble way to say thank you to our heroes by making their jobs just a tad easier.
The Massachusetts Cannabis Industry Portal (MassCIP) is migrating from Virtual Gateway to our Amazon Web Services Cloud-hosted system for all license management operations of the Medical Use of Marijuana Program. This migration means that all patients, caregivers, clinicians, and medical marijuana treatment centers can start using MassCIP after they claim their accounts.
With this change, users should experience fewer service interruptions, a more user-friendly experience, and continuous system optimization. Another neat feature of this system is that if users opt to register their MassCIP accounts with their Massachusetts driver’s license number, they will benefit from the automatic identification verification. This is thanks to the system’s integration with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.
We are glad to continue supporting the Cannabis Control Commission’s mission of safely, equitably, and effectively implementing and administering the laws enabling access to medical and adult use marijuana in the Commonwealth.
We’re thrilled to have launched the Nurse Aide Registry Inquiry System. This system will be used by the Commonwealth’s healthcare employers to check the standing of Nurse Aides’ registrations. The system will automatically notify employers of any adverse actions taken against their Nurse Aides’ staff. We hope that this system will help protect the most vulnerable among us from abuse and ensure that they are receiving proper care.
We have been working on this system for months, and we are excited to receive feedback from the user community.
Massachusetts’s legalization of recreational marijuana requires new laws, regulations, and even license management. We of all people understand that managing licenses can be a headache, which is why we, alongside the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, launched MassCIP: the Massachusetts Cannabis Industry Portal. This portal is a secure platform that will improve the experience of those who are applying for the following licenses:
MassCIP will provide applicants with access to information about the application process, timelines and requirements across multiple licensing authorities, and make sure that marijuana establishments stay up to date as laws and regulations change.
This system was built in just 5 weeks, from contract execution to deployment, which is a testament to our team’s ability to execute under pressure. We’re grateful to have the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission as our clients.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has been working hard over the past few years to improve its procurement process. We are happy to announce that we have finally launched the Purchase of Services Tracking System (PTS). This system will help the Department of Public Health streamline the procurement process and replace many labor-intensive legacy systems.
The PTS system is a fully customized enterprise system that provides easy-to-use solutions for the full life cycle of the procurement process from a proposed project to gathering all the appropriate approvals, contract award, encumbrance of funds, and management of contract amendments. This system is fully integrated with the Massachusetts State Accounting System (MMARS).
It's hard to tell who is more excited about this launch, the DPH staff who finally have a new user-friendly system or our engineers who are done developing it at last.
